My goodness.
A... A lot has happened.
Everything's okay, but...
*(Human, are you alright?)
*(If you are uncomfortable, it might help to know that documenting your adventures isn't necessary.)
N-no, um... I need to.
*(I see. In that case, one step at a time.)

Our travel through Hotland wasn't too different from the other areas in the Underground. There were a considerable number of puzzles, which I helped the kid solve so we wouldn't spend too much time burning up. The monsters were still attacking, but still were charming beings, and remained unharmed. It was more of the same, save for Alphys' frequent updates on our phone. Mostly rambling about one of her history videos.
But now for surprises.
First up was a spider monster named Muffet. She was stronger than most of the other monsters, and trapped us in a weird web while trying to feed us to her... "pet." It was... fairly unpleasant. Thankfully, the monster girl received notice that the kid bought a spider donut at some point in the ruins. The note just described that a child in a striped shirt bought her wares, and since we both had striped clothes she had to let us both go.
Wish that could have ended sooner, but I'm glad it was resolved peacefully...
While we were making our way to the CORE, we found ourselves in a lot of shenanigans with Mettaton. This ranged from a cooking show to a news report (we reported on that white dog. It was a bomb.) to a musical number... this is the strangest assassin I could ever meet. I had to admit, it was actually fun for trying to be killed. But hey, we had Alphys' help, so were weren't in any danger.
... that would turn out to be more true than we thought, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Um, Mettaton. He also has a hotel, were we found Sans again. I failed to mention this, but it seemed like he was watching us all throughout our journey. Apparently he'd been told by a friend (who I think we both figured out was Toriel) to keep an eye on any children that would come out of the ruins' door. And if he hadn't promised that to her, we'd...
...
I'd rather not say.
But, um, I guess children falling down really is a common problem. So there's that.
The CORE had more puzzles, that seemed to even be out of Alphys' control. I didn't know how to feel about that... I probably should have been afraid, but at the time my sibling and I took the challenge head on.
Must be that Determination I've heard about.
Not long after we met up with Mettaton, who told us that the whole "killer robot" plot was just... some kind of lie Alphys made up to put herself into the story.
..........
* *A concerned croak*
I'm fine. Just... I'm not angry or disappointed with her, but... never mind.
Mettaton, the kid and I fought. Well, performed really. It was actually a quick encounter, seeing as no one expected two humans to have such "star power," or however Mettaton referred to it. I'm proud to say this was the one time I outperformed my little sibling - and I finally found a use for those sparkles and posing techniques I picked up ages ago. That "fight" was probably the most fun I've had yet!
... and then Alphys came back and...
She said if the kid wanted to go home, they'd have to kill the king, ASGORE
...
Even the kid isn't sure what to do right now. I don't want to go forward if it means someone dies, so...
We'll see what happens
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
