Jump 11: Generic Parenting Jump

*I uh, wrote this before finishing the Carnival Phantasm Jump just on a whim, so...

... I couldn't stay with my family from Undertale, but I can make my own.

Child Rolls
Age (Child:Default): 6
Oh, I wasn't sure if I should choose Toddler or Child at first... glad I chose child now.
Gender: Female
Oh boy. She'll be 16 when this is over...
Background: Jumper Jr.
... And she's not adopted. She's my biological daughter.

My Rolls
Age: 30 (free choice)
It suggested I be at least 10 years older... hahaha.
Location: An advanced and industrial city
... Great, not the kind of place I'm really fond of.
Background: Teacher
Well... I'm not really confident enough to call myself a "parent," per say... and my track record with previous family (before jumping) has been unique at best. She's still mine, but... I just want to be balanced and fair for her. It seems like the best option, even if it makes me a bit distant.

Free Things
-"A Steady Hand" Perk (Free for Teacher)
(People will look at me and think of me as a reliable person... whether or not that's entirely true in
the situation is a different story. They can call bullshit on my bluff if they know my skills though.)
-"Leave it to Me!" Perk (Free for Teacher)
(My child will, thankfully, look up to me as a good role model, and will often ask for my advice. This
also tends to affect other people younger than me. Doesn't really work on people who don't know
me or otherwise hate me. Dang.)
-"Multiverse's Best Dad" Mug
(... this is the best thing ever I'm going to cry. Coffee is magically delicious in this mug.)
-Training Clothes (Free for Teacher)
(Um, what it says on the tin. 8 pairs of training clothes for the little one, as well as a tee and a pair
of jeans. Weird, I really wouldn't consider doing any physical training, but it's handy...)
-The Infinite Notepad (Free for Teacher)
(...Exactly what it says. It's meant for my ward. Attempting to use it to cheat or as printing paper,
will make it uh, catch fire. It does replace itself though.)

Drawbacks and Suffering
(Up to +600 CP)
-Out of Control +/-0 CP
(...Why this is a thing?... oh, because she's my actual offspring. So, um, my ward will suddenly
develop powers similar to my own... whatever it is that's now in my genes. It'll be quite destructive
    I hear. fun.)
-You're Not My Real Dad! +100 CP
    (Ugh. Rebellious streaks.)
-Warehouse Key Jr. +300 CP
(Ohh. So, um, she has a copy of my key... should be too much of a problem ohgodSCP-914jesus)

Perks + Items
(1400 CP to spend)
-Okay, This is New -100 CP
(I can adapt quickly and generally stay more calmer to things that would have otherwise shocked
me. Seems like a good idea considering the potential havoc she could bring...)
-Relax a Little -400 -200 CP (Discount Teacher)
(Finally, the power of empathy. It allows me to make those weaker or younger than me comfortable
with my presence when I act as a mentor... provided the same kind of conditions detailed over
    "Leave it to Me!")
-The Adventures of Jumper! -200 CP
(All my adventures, now detailed in a child-friendly kid's book. Finally, good stories... wait wasn't
that what I wanted in the first place? Naturally, the SCP section is pretty much entirely gone.)
-Child-Proof Spray -100 CP
(I'll be needing this for the warehouse. Even if it does only last an hour.)
-Health Snacks -400 -200 CP (Discount Teacher)
(Less work for me. Though it occurs to me I do in fact know how to cook...)
-Parenting for Jumpers -600 CP
(A GUIDE FOR EVERYTHING I COULD EVER NEED TO KNOW. Includes things about what kind
of developments in her abilities... I'll have to study this.)

... I feel as though as I'm forgetting something...
*Ribbit
Ah! Dusty! Hey, um, guess it's pretty weird to see me go from 16 to 30, isn't it?
*(It is... something I don't believe I've seen before.)
I imagine so... want to meet my daughter with me?
*(That sounds like a pleasure.)

Companions
-Uncles, Aunties and Nannies! (Free)
*(I am unsure what the gender-neutral term is, although it may be easier to refer to me as a pet.)
*(Regardless, I still get to pick a background, but no "perks" as it were. How confusing...)
(You'll get used to it, trust me.)
*(If you say so, human. I'll be taking the Caring Background. It reminds me of miss Toriel.)

Aaand I think that's everything we'll need!
*(Everything except the child herself.)
... Good point.
*(Do you even have a name for her?)
Sure I do!... *ahem* Dido!!

Coming, Daddy!

JUMP 10: Results

I wish I could fully explain everything that happened.

...
The three of us made our way to the King's Castle, and all the while the residents of the Underground told us the entire story of the King's Family.
The human child had died of a "mysterious disease." Buttercups...
The monster child, Asriel, had taken their soul and crossed the barrier, but was harmed by the humans living there, as they thought he had killed them. He then died and turned to dust on a bed of golden flowers.
The father, ASGORE, declared war on humanity. This is why he want 7 human souls - to become a god to both break the barrier and get his revenge.
And the mother, Toriel, had left her husband and retreated to the ruins.

We couldn't turn back now. We've come too far to turn back now.

We found Asgore in a lovely throne room, watering flowers. He noticed the two of us and looked shocked, but... it seemed like he had a duty to carry out.
He lead us to the barrier, displayed the souls he'd collected and asked if we were ready.

Somehow, we were ready and determined.
Or, we thought so.

The fight was over before it begun. Toriel had intervened. It seemed that she got worried about us and the choice we would have to make to leave, and decided to go after us so that we wouldn't have to hurt anyone.
I really appreciated it. The kid did too.
Then, everyone else found their way into the throne room. Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys... Mettaton. They were all concerned for the both of us. I wouldn't have minded staying Underground with all these friends, and for the first time it seemed like my sibling was ready to accept that.

Then a flower arrived.
I... I've only seen this flower in the corner of my eye, but I always thought I'd imagined it. The kid seemed more familiar with it, and looked frightened for the first time. I didn't understand until it attacked our friends.
I wanted to fight it so bad...
But as "Flowey" had tried to attack us, all our friends made sure they we were protected by their magic. Even all of the monsters we'd met through the underground showed up to encourage us.

That backfired. Flowey took all of their souls. Including Dusty's...
And then...

Well, this is the part where I find it hard to explain.
The flower became a goat child. Asriel Dreemurr.
Good lord, I don't know if I could even put into words the things I've seen and the emotions I felt during the whole encounter with him.
I thought I saw my sibling die. And get back up from the fatal blow multiple times.
I thought I wasn't going to make it if it wasn't for the determination I've gained in our travels.
I swear I saw everything disappear except the three of us.
I felt...

... I don't even know.

Sympathetic? Confused? Pumped-up? Seems like a combination of those, is there a word for it?
I think it felt good, but looking back at it all, it doesn't seem like it should have been.

I'm rambling, my apologies.
In the end we were able to reach the souls of our friends Asriel had stolen, as well as Asriel himself. He was sorry for what he had done - it appears my sibling looked quite a lot like his own - and decided to set things right by using his power to break the barrier for good and returning everyone's souls.
At the cost of his own life.

... My sibling - Frisk, I mean - they did their best to comfort him in his last moments.
They were reluctant to let go.

We were back with everyone else. No one realized what had happened. But they were all happy to see us safe, and that everyone was now free.

I'm... not gonna lie, this is the first time in a long time I've considered staying in a universe. I know Toriel would be sad to see me go, and I didn't want to leave my new family behind. But at the same time, all this determination I've built up with Frisk is just urging me to keep my adventures going. But again, a family...

... After finally having a moment to myself and reviewing my options in the warehouse, I think I've found a way to have the best of both worlds. I'm going to write down to the best of my ability our encounter with Asriel so that Mom will understand what happened. She'll know whether or not it'll be a good idea to tell the others.
I'm also going to explain to Frisk my business as a jumper. Not sure if they'll understand, but I felt as though they deserved an explanation. Everyone around us seemed surprised to see two humans, I'm sure they've noticed that as well. Besides, they seem like they can keep a secret.

*This was... a trip to type through. As much as I love the game (it's literally like home to me), most of it felt really sad to think about. I can't even say how much I wanted to find a way to save Asriel, but that's just not how things played out.
*I apologize for the sheer length of this jump, and my own personal rambling.

JUMP 10: Intermission VII

It got worse.

It didn't seem like it was going to get worse at first, but it certainly did.

First of all, after a long time mulling over what to do, the kid headed back towards the hotel, and I didn't know what else to do but to follow them. That's where we got a phone call from Undyne, telling us that she had something important to deliver to Alphys. We thought that might help our friend's mood, so we accepted the little quest.

Long story short: Shenanigans. And the kid is terrible at roleplaying. They're only like, 7 though from what I can figure...
Oh, and Anime is Real, of course. The kids tried to say it wasn't but it definitely is.
The shenanigans ended with Papyrus agreeing to train Alphys to have self-confidence, so with nothing else to do we had no choice but to head for the King.

Or so we thought.

Papyrus called us and said that he had to send Alphys "VERY HOME" and that it would be in our best interest to check on her. I was pretty thankful for the distraction (I'm still not ready to face the king), so again we readily accepted.
When we reached her lab, Alphys wasn't anywhere to be found. There was only one place we hadn't looked, and that was a door that led to...
... I...
I don't even what to say what we found there. I had no idea Alphys could be capable of...

*...
*(Monsters. Monsters that had fallen down, and-)
No!
*(-They were fused together-)
Dusty please!
*...
*Ribbit

... l-like everything, it ended up alright... We found Alphys, and it seemed that whatever demons she was facing, she found the strength to face her fears and let everyone know what was happening down there.

But still...
Wish I could say there was some cheerfulness in that lab, but the only thing that came close were those video tapes. I recognized Toriel's voice, but no one else. From what I could figure, Mom had a husband ("Gorey...") and their own child, as well as another human? They sounded like they got along really well, but the children talked about accidentally poisoning their father, and it seemed to end with the human child
...

This... isn't what I needed to hear before seeing the king of all monsters.

We don't have a choice anymore though.

JUMP 10: Intermission VI

My goodness.
A... A lot has happened.

Everything's okay, but...
*(Human, are you alright?)
*(If you are uncomfortable, it might help to know that documenting your adventures isn't necessary.)
N-no, um... I need to.
*(I see. In that case, one step at a time.)
...

Our travel through Hotland wasn't too different from the other areas in the Underground. There were a considerable number of puzzles, which I helped the kid solve so we wouldn't spend too much time burning up. The monsters were still attacking, but still were charming beings, and remained unharmed. It was more of the same, save for Alphys' frequent updates on our phone. Mostly rambling about one of her history videos.

But now for surprises.

First up was a spider monster named Muffet. She was stronger than most of the other monsters, and trapped us in a weird web while trying to feed us to her... "pet." It was... fairly unpleasant. Thankfully, the monster girl received notice that the kid bought a spider donut at some point in the ruins. The note just described that a child in a striped shirt bought her wares, and since we both had striped clothes she had to let us both go.
Wish that could have ended sooner, but I'm glad it was resolved peacefully...

While we were making our way to the CORE, we found ourselves in a lot of shenanigans with Mettaton. This ranged from a cooking show to a news report (we reported on that white dog. It was a bomb.) to a musical number... this is the strangest assassin I could ever meet. I had to admit, it was actually fun for trying to be killed. But hey, we had Alphys' help, so were weren't in any danger.
... that would turn out to be more true than we thought, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Um, Mettaton. He also has a hotel, were we found Sans again. I failed to mention this, but it seemed like he was watching us all throughout our journey. Apparently he'd been told by a friend (who I think we both figured out was Toriel) to keep an eye on any children that would come out of the ruins' door. And if he hadn't promised that to her, we'd...
...
I'd rather not say.
But, um, I guess children falling down really is a common problem. So there's that.

The CORE had more puzzles, that seemed to even be out of Alphys' control. I didn't know how to feel about that... I probably should have been afraid, but at the time my sibling and I took the challenge head on.
Must be that Determination I've heard about.

Not long after we met up with Mettaton, who told us that the whole "killer robot" plot was just... some kind of lie Alphys made up to put herself into the story.
..........
* *A concerned croak*
I'm fine. Just... I'm not angry or disappointed with her, but... never mind.
Mettaton, the kid and I fought. Well, performed really. It was actually a quick encounter, seeing as no one expected two humans to have such "star power," or however Mettaton referred to it. I'm proud to say this was the one time I outperformed my little sibling - and I finally found a use for those sparkles and posing techniques I picked up ages ago. That "fight" was probably the most fun I've had yet!

... and then Alphys came back and...
She said if the kid wanted to go home, they'd have to kill the king, ASGORE
...

Even the kid isn't sure what to do right now. I don't want to go forward if it means someone dies, so...
We'll see what happens

JUMP 10: Intermission V

That went better than I expected.
And a lot worse than I expected too, somehow.

Naturally, I couldn't convince the kid to continue on ahead. I really should have seen that one coming.
After a brief stop to a snail farm (how charming!) we found ourselves at her house. The woman who tried to kill us not minutes ago. Even that annoying dummy was there...
And Papyrus. Papyrus isn't the dummy, I thought I should clarify that.

So, the skeleton had a "foolproof" plan to have Undyne become our friend... I wasn't entirely sure if it was the wisest idea to go along with it, but I guess the kid's optimism was starting to rub off on me. I was finally convinced that my sibling could handle whatever would come across them.
...Even if I did have to save their butt earlier.

Anyway. The uh, "date" started off rough, but it turns out Undyne and I have a lot in common! We both know our human history and have similar techniques on cooking!
I don't know what she meant by "No wonder Papyrus sucks at cooking," I thought it was going well. Just a bit less fire and it would have been delicious.
So, uh, yeah. We're friends, and now we can move on ahead.

I don't really understand how the Underground could have a dank, wet place like Waterfall and a dangerously hot area like Hotland right back to back, but apparently it just does..
One of the first things we ran into was a lab, that had some more... interesting characters staying there. Namely a scientist named Alphys and a murderbot named Mettaton.

Yeaah. Umm, is it strange that I'd call Mettaton charming?
*(Not at all, human. After all, he is the Underground's biggest star.)
Sure, but he's trying to literally actually kill us.
*(I would have thought you'd be used to it by now.)
L-Look, I spent five years safe in sound in Toriel's house, and now suddenly I'm throwing my life on the line to protect this kid! It's not exactly a smooth adjustment, and-

*ACT: Smile
*[They smile patiently at D.]

... It's gonna be okay, huh?
...
They're not wrong, actually. They're capable. I'm capable. Dusty's wise. And we have help from Alphys.

Just gotta get through these puzzles and into the CORE... we can do that.

JUMP 10: Intermission IV

How can this place be so peaceful
And have the most intense residents I've seen so far??

After an impromptu date with Sans, the three of us ended up in a place called Waterfall. It seemed like what one would from the surface would imagine an enchanted cave to be- dark, wet, yet somehow mystical. I uh, really liked this area. A lot.

Too bad I was too worried about my "sibling" the entire time.

I know, I know, after seeing how they handled conflict in Snowdin I really shouldn't have been concerned at all, they really did show themselves capable. However it was made immediately clear to us that there was a very real threat this time around. This... Undyne character, we overheard Papyrus talking to her and see seemed very, um, displeased learning about two young humans walking free. So much so that when we tried to walk out of the grass we were sneaking in, she pulled out a spear immediately. It wasn't thrown, thankfully.

We also met another monster child, who was very... enthusiastic about our attacker. I was about to explain to them that we were in fact humans and that we were her targets, but... my sibling tugged at my sleeve and shook their head. They still didn't talk, but I'm pretty sure they didn't want to hurt Monster Kid's feelings.
Awfully sweet of them considering the situation we were in.

Undyne wasn't the only threatening monster around. After we fell down a broken bridge (courtesy of Undyne herself), we crossed paths with the most intense monster yet.

A dummy.
A very mad dummy.

I couldn't quite figure out why, but he reminded me of a certain dog (and I'm not talking about the fluffy white one). The dummy certainly wasn't patient, and bossed around his, um, friends(?) to attack the both of us. Now, with my previous experience from the ruins and watching the kid's techniques in Snowdin, I've gotten pretty decent at dodging attacks. I still got grazed here and there, but I didn't feel like I was in any danger.

But this child, man.
I don't know how they do it, but it really seems like they know exactly how the bullets would come at them and just where it was safe to move. I'll have to ask how they do that soon, though they seem more reluctant to talk than Dusty.
*(It is possible the human is exceptionally good at pattern recognition , despite being younger than you.)
...They're wayy younger than me. More than you'd think. I'll explain when they reach their home safely.

Speaking of that, we were able to learn more about our end destination thanks to some signs. There's a barrier that's keeping all the monsters trapped in this mountain -I recall Toriel teaching me that first part- that required 7 human souls to break. The king has six...
Which was why Undyne was very eager to kill us when we finally were face-to-face.

For the longest time, the kid was determined to talk things out with the warrior. Sometimes they'd beg for mercy, other times they'd try to egg her on with a challenge. But no matter what they'd convey, Undyne wouldn't stop fighting. Even Dusty said that she would never give up.

So, at the first opportunity I gleamed, I took the kid's hand and ran away.
Undyne was pretty angry at my decision and caught up to us, but I was determined to keep my sibling safe. The only option I could see was fleeing. (Really didn't help that you called, Papyrus...)

We crossed into a place called Hotland, and Undyne... couldn't take the heat.
* *A croak that sounds like regret*
At that point, I wasn't sure what to do. The kid and I were definitely safe then, but...
I'm glad they noticed a water cooler, because they ended up sharing some water with the poor fish and she just... let us go. Hopefully we can move on...

*Ribbit
Uh, could you repeat that please?
*(The human wants to head back into waterfall.)
A-Are they serious?? Just because we saved Undyne's life doesn't mean it's safe to waltz right back in!
*(Perhaps, but they're already making their way back.)
Wha- WAIT, COME BACK!

JUMP 10: Intermission III

I learned something new at the Librarby...
I'M SO SORRY DUSTY.

S-So, um, turns out, when monsters die their bodies turn to dust, which means the day I met Dusty they were probably looking at...
And I basically named them the monster equivalent of "Bloody"
I uh...

*Ribbit
*(Human.)
*(Don't be concerned. I understand.)

O-Oh, um... would... would you like a different name? Does it... bother you?
*(I've grown accustomed to the name.)
*(I've seen that you are not a malicious person. Were that not the case, I wouldn't have stayed with you)
Ah... um, I'm glad... that's really nice to hear.
*Ribbit

Uhhmm... that... little discovery was near the end of my travels in this snowy place though. What happened first, though...

I picked up Dusty and ran through the snow as fast as I could. I saw small, fresh footprints in the snow, so I knew the kid couldn't be too far ahead. Just ahead though, I saw a skeleton standing and waiting across a bridge. That was... unexpected.
*huh. 'nother human? that's unexpected.
*hey kiddo, how's it goin? i'm sans. sans the skeleton.

As um, friendly as he appeared to be, I explained that I was in a hurry to catch up to... well, in the rush of the moment, I may have accidentally referred to the kid as my sibling? He told me that it was a good thing I was in a rush, because some crazy monster had his eyes set on capturing the kid and that he could take me to them faster than the other monster could.

I later learned that this was a practical joke on my end. The monster was his brother Papyrus, who was no real threat at all.
Should have figured since he had a whoopee cushion the hand he offered me.

That aside, we ended up a fairly nice field with a golf-like game dug into the snow. The kid was there, adamantly trying to kick a snowdecahedron into the goal into the hole at the other end. I was so glad to see them safe and sound. Even if I couldn't trace back to where the three of us had came from.

I joined their Ball Game for a few minutes before they moved on. This kid, I swear. They're so resolute in their travels. Nothing could stop them.
Um, nothing except dogs, but to honest I couldn't help petting Lesser Dog with them.

With the kid I met a lot more of the monsters that lived in the area, including Papyrus. Funnily enough, his spaghetti tastes a lot like the pies I'd make with Toriel. Only frozen. The kid even made the same kind of face Mom makes when she eats my pie. I'll have to learn from him sometime!

But of course, it wasn't all without conflict. Maybe I only imagined it, but I could swear there were a few times, most notably with the the Dog Marriage Couple that the kid... well. Like I said, I probably imagined it. They definitely acted like they knew actually what would pacify the monsters in our path. The only trouble I know for certain they had was with Papyrus. He wasn't going to let us continue on without a fight. Twice he was able to capture the kid.

But then they started to flirt with him?
And somehow that helped them succeed?? I'm gonna have to take notes.

This uh, even ended up in an... interesting date with Papyrus in his own house. I don't have any other words to describe it.
* *blushes deeply*
I'm glad we ended that on sure a lighthearted note.

But we have to proceed to whoever this ASGORE I've heard about is...

JUMP 10: Intermission II

So, by a while, I guess I meant a few years.
Probably would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the other kid.

I just couldn't help it, Mom-
...
I mean, Toriel is just so pleasant to be around, I just couldn't bring myself to leave without her. We had a nice routine: every morning (?) she would go to the same spot where she found me to check for any other fallen children. Then she'd return and we'd go for a brief walk with Dusty. Sometimes it'd just be through the ruins, to catch bugs or test my knowledge on the puzzles there (it took her a long time before she allowed me to solve them myself), sometimes it'd be a short visit to the capital. It was surprisingly crowded with monsters there, but then again, I hadn't seen an exit at that point, so... I thought that was all the Underground back then.
Um, after that, Toriel and I would head back home, where she'd teach me about snails and the history between humans and monsters, and that sort of stuff. I even helped her cook a bit. The snail pie came out surprisingly well, I think!

It was nice, if a bit dull, but I enjoyed the time I spent with Mom.

And then another child fell.

I actually didn't find out about them until Toriel came home with them. Turns out she was planning to make a pie for them as well, but ran into similar shenanigans involving that dog from earlier. The new kid was awfully quiet, they seemed really nice, and to be honest I was really looking forward to having a bit of a small family with them and Mom.

That was until they asked Toriel how to leave the ruins.
She went downstairs - something I've never seen her do before, aside from the very first few times I attempted to explore down there - and surprisingly the new kid followed her.
There was a door. A door to the rest of the Underground I didn't even know existed.

And Toriel was going to destroy it. And then...
She and the kid fought.

I never could have excepted this to ever happen. Here I was expecting the kid to be just as charmed with Mom as I was, and not even a day later they were already trying to leave. Maybe they had places to go, but...
Even so, it made Toriel use her own fire magic, and not just for cooking. She really was trying to push the kid back into the house.

Yet they were determined to leave.
But they didn't fight back. They just dodged the attacks and stood their ground.
Eventually, Toriel couldn't bring herself to keep the kid there. I remember what she said still...

Mom and the kid shared a hug, and she walked away from the door. I hesitated, and followed her. I wasn't sure what to do, so I walked with her all the way to the golden flower patch. And.. I asked her what I could do to help.

*Do not worry about me, my child.
*Someone's got to take care of these flowers.

... It took a bit of thinking, but I decided to follow the kid through the door. Not only did I want to know what else the Underground had to offer, but I wanted to keep an eye on them. Toriel would've wanted to know someone was making sure someone was keeping an eye out for them. I left a note, and...

I found myself among snow.

I have to find the kid quickly.

JUMP 10: Intermission I

I woke up among some golden flowers.
It hurt a bit.

I guess when they said "Fallen Human" they meant it literally. That wasn't the only thing I saw when I woke up, either: looking down at me with concern was a tall goat lady.
That's the only way I could describe her. Somehow, it wasn't nearly as scary as it would seem.

She introduced herself as Toriel, a caretaker of sorts for the Ruins, and told me she checked by this patch of flowers every day to see if any children fall down.
Is this a common problem here?
Anyway, she took my hand and leaded me through a few of the puzzles before leaving to get some groceries.

It was taking a while for her to return, and I didn't want to disobey her because she seemed so nice... maybe it was just the child mentality kicking in. So I thought I'd call the dog over for some company, maybe play fetch.

Turns out the little scamp stole a pie crust from her, so I took it upon myself to return it to her.

There's where I encountered some of the monsters that lived here. They didn't seem to know what was going on, but still thought the best option was to use magic against me. It was a bit of a surprise! They looked so docile, but a few of their attacks really could hurt. Luckily, none of them seemed hard to reason with. I didn't harm a single one.

However, there was one Froggit that didn't really attack at all. It seemed distracted by some dust on the ground. The poor thing made me concerned, so I offered it some Monster Candy I found earlier and eventually it started following me through the ruins. They're not one for conversation, but it seemed to enjoy the company. I ended up naming them Dusty.

Several puzzles and random monsters later, I found myself in front of a house, where Toriel was standing looking concerned. Her concern only grew when she saw I was a bit roughed up in my travels, but I told her that I was fine and that I was just trying to help her by returning her pie crust. I also told her about Dusty, which... well, she had a strange look when I said their name, but shrugged it off.

Her home is so pleasant, with a few books and a lovely little bedroom perfect for a child. Even Dusty's mood seemed to improve by a lot.

She's making pie, just because I fell down.

I think I'll just stay with her a while...

JUMP 10: Undertale

*Aside from this being really weird for me in general, I wrote this before Jump 9's Results and after Jump 11. So, um. If it seems out of place anywhere that's because it probably is.

Uggh. After that bore-fest, it's back to the status quo. Which means more monsters of course!

Age: 11
Someone check for me, is that the youngest I've ever been? *Yes. Previous record was 12.
Location: Ruins
It's so purple. Why is it so purple? At least it seems peaceful enough.
Background + Race: Fallen Human (-200 CP) + Human
Humans seem to have some... interesting perks I want to invest in. So the 200 point drawback will be worth it, I hope.

Free Things
-"Summon Annoying Dog" Perk
(um...? Okay. A chaotic little pup. Sounds like a lovely pet.)
-DETERMINATION (Free Fallen Human)
(Whoa. Okay. So I can go full heroic last stand and take a fatal blow and just stay standing without
dying... but if I do die, I have an hour left to finish any business. I don't think that'll be a concern
    though...)

Drawbacks and Suffering
(Up to +600 CP)
-Anime's real, right!? +50 CP
(BUT IT IS! Is jumping not proof of this!?)
-The Taste is Indescribable... +100 CP
(I suck at cooking. And I'm completely unaware of it.
Wait, what? How does that even work Freaking Jump Logic...)

... something about all these other drawbacks is really off to me. I mean, not most of them, but... it's a mix of really inconvenient, involve companions I don't have or... something entirely less and awful.

Perks + Items
(Only 950 CP to spend...)
-Blessing of Toby Fox -100 CP
(Personal music for myself, with three different variants. Also includes music for the warehouse and
    any companions- oh wait...)
-Lesser Monster -100 -50 CP (Discount for a Ruins monster)
(There we go! After 90 or so years, I've finally found a friend to take with me, and what's more,
they're a frog! Frog monster. Froggit, apparently. It's kinda cute. I guess they get music too now...?)
-Patience -100 CP
(I'll never get bored. Not that jumping is boring, but 10 years is a long time to entertain yourself.
Makes dull tasks much more tolerable. Even standing, apparently.)
-MERCY -400 -200 CP (Discount Fallen Human)
(Now we're getting into the good stuff. I can now convince people not to fight, with just words and
actions. Only the most determined will resist this!)
-SAVE the World -600 -300 CP (Discount Fallen Human)
(Resistance to despair! Resistance to corruption! To mind control and any other forceful negative
emotion! But that's not all! This extends to any friends I could make, all it would take is a reminder
of our friendship and this is sounding really cheesy but I don't care. Can even SAVE someone from
themselves. Wake me up, I must be dreaming.)
-Heart locket -400 -200 CP (Discount Fallen Human)
(Oops, almost left without a souvenir. Aside from being a nice locket, it gives me more resistance
to corruption, although specifically targeted at my soul. Actually, it's very protective against magic
aimed at my soul in general. Well worth the investment!)

I have five years before the "event" happens. Guess I'll see how it plays out when it comes. 'Till then...

JUMP 9: Results

The wedding was surprisingly pleasant.
Too bad I was stuck there after the ceremonies were over.

...Wish I had a lot more to say. But uh, I was kinda stuck. And even though I had a vehicle that could let me move around, I honestly couldn't be asked. That kinda thing would burn a hole in your wallet, man.

*I really am sorry this entry is so short. I really don't know much about Carnival Phantasm other than a few memes and characters.
