Wha-
Okay, fine, more monsters, that's perfectly acceptable. No, I don't mind at all whoever you are. At least it seems like I'll be able to pick up magic abilities? I wonder how they work cross-dimensions...
Age: 12
... why.
Location: The 'Burbs
Pros: Not as busy as a city, less people, fairly convenient as far as stores are concerned
Cons: Can't run across rooftops, apparently. Monsters are better hidden.
Background: Drop-in
~FREE~. Speaking of...
Free Things
-A magical transformation!
(This lets me transform and use my magical
who hasn't actually seen me transform. Can't use my powers without transforming though.)
-A magical animal companion!
(... you know what, I'll just use one of my Zubats. Welcome Natir. They will be able to speak and
have average human intelligence.)
-Two magical girl teammates!
(I'm not using any pokemon to fill these roles, so I guess they'll
show up and see what'll happen from there...? Also if one of them is out of commission there will be
a replacement shortly after. That's... morbid. Oh, and apparently I'm the leader in this scenario.
Hoo-ray.)
-A magic transformation pendant!
(Completely optional, but I like having things. It'll also return to me a day later if I lose it.)
Drawbacks and Suffering
(Two drawbacks, up to 600+ CP)
-Rival Magical Team +0 CP (does not count towards the two drawbacks)
(Occasionally another rag-tag team of magical girls (probably) will show up and try to save the day
while upstaging my team. Poorly. Personally, I wouldn't mind the help, even if it's not the best
around.)
-It Never Stops! +300 CP
(As opposed to a monster a week, I'm required to stop a monster every three days at least. It's
okay, I've got teammates and a friendly rival team, right...?)
-Locked +200 CP
(Oh no, my aura powers
I'm transformed. Oh woe is me, it's not like I was going to do that anyway.)
Perks + Items
(1500 CP to spend, let's go)
-Anti-Magic -
(Oh? MY GOD??? I can shut down magic weaker than mine and disrupt spells that are stronger
once a day at the expense of being really tired!? And it gets better if I practice!? What in the FU-)
-Aggregate Impact Psychotherapy AKA: Befriending -300 CP
(I can cure villains of their evil ways through, uh, magic. After I've fought them of course...)
-That Did Not Happen! -200 CP
(Witnesses and stalkers are a concern of the past, with this handy ability to convince them I had
nothing to do with anything. Very useful, even outside a Magical Girl-esque universe...)
-Physical Boost -
(I'm five times faster and stronger than someone my age, and can jump 20 feet in the air no sweat.
Of course, starting off here I'm only 12, but I'm sure it'll only get better...)
-Elemental Zap -100 CP
(Good for mooks and breaking windows, not so much in bigger fights. Yet, anyway...)
-Weapon of Power -200 CP
(A weapon + magic, naturally. I'm going to go with a simple sword, made of... glass?*... w-well, um,
it's magic, so it's sturdier than it sounds. And can cut through concrete. I don't intend on slicing and
dicing people, though.)
-Item of Power -200 CP
(Same kind of deal, except not a weapon. How about an illusion-projecting mirror? Just uh, feel like
going with a glass theme for some reason.)
-Rich Family -50 CP
(OH MY GOD ANOTHER FAMILY.
...and unlimited funds I guess.)
-Communicators -100 CP
(More things for me to collect! I-I mean, um, to keep in touch with my allies. Right...)
I feel like I have a lot more to work with here, especially with the whole magical element. Even my location shouldn't be a problem, given that Blend-In perk from the Pokemon jump. That's what they're called, right?
Right! But don't think this'll be a walk in the park! You've agreed to fight on a much more crammed schedule than regular magi!
... Natir?
Who else? Also, you need to decide on a theme for your magical group!
Is, um, is glass a theme? I mean, my last name IS Shard...
... *sigh* We'll find something close to that.
*I used a random weapon generator for Shard's weapon. And yes, the very first thing it suggested was, quote, "A fairly short, wide, smooth blade made of glass is held by a grip wrapped in common, bronze bear leather. With just one razor-sharp edge this weapon is the perfect choice for slicing and dicing while also offering you a way to effectively block attacks."
